SINOPSIS:

Desde el escenario de un mítico teatro parisino, un anciano Pepe Soller, referente de la canción antifranquista, hace un repaso a su vida y su carrera en un concierto emotivo e irrepetible.

Memoria de una guitarra, a través de la figura ficticia de Soller, se adentra en lo que suponía hacer canción protesta durante los últimos años de la Dictadura: Permisos denegados, canciones censuradas, vetos en los medios, intimidaciones y, también, exilios. Es un viaje por algunos de los acontecimientos más relevantes de nuestra historia reciente, y un reconocimiento a la labor de quienes se plantaron, con una guitarra como arma entre las manos.

From the stage of a mythical Parisian theatre, an elderly Pepe Soller, a benchmark for anti-Franco songs, reviews his life and career in an emotional and unrepeatable concert.

Memoria de una Guitarra, through the fictitious figure of Soller, delves into what it meant to make a protest song during the last years of the dictatorship: Denied permits, censored songs, vetoes in the media, intimidation and, also, exiles. It is a journey through some of the most relevant events in our recent history, and an acknowledgment of the work of those who stood up, with a guitar as a weapon in their hands.
